I worked for Rio Salado College for 5 Years and some change. In that time I worked on a wide variety of projects from flyers, brochures, posters, signage and a complete relaunch of their website. The relaunch was a hefty project with barriers including design by committee, moving the responsibility of the website from the Information Services department into the Marketing department, Technology (we were tasked with using SharePoint2010 to build and and maintain the public facing website) and of course – time. I am happy to have been highly involved and placed in a leadership position throughout this entire project. The result was a website that gave control back to the content producers, prebaking a process of approval on content changes and delivering a consistant brand experience to the users throughout all touch points for the college.
