So I really like Delux Burgers in Phoenix Arizona. They are an upscale, hip, modern and delicious burger joint with a ton of great beer on tap! The entire brand just screams cool and better then the rest. However, for the holidays I received this ugly email blast that made me question everything I thought I know about Delux. The images were tacky, unorganized, made of clipart, and the worst part was the tag line – “Off the hook”. This is not what I expected from this establishment.

My girlfriend had this to say,

“I love Delux, but this email is awful. It makes it sound like it’s a shady afterparty to some club rather than one of my favorite date restaurants.”

So I decided to take some time and redesign this for them and send them a “strongly worded” email in hopes to help them out and possible get some side work re-doing their menus and website.
